Captain Avi “Zabo” Ben Zeev on The Fateful Story of the Dakar Submarine
The DAKAR was Israel’s first submarine that was lost at sea in 1968 with 69 submariners aboard.
Aluf Mishne (Captain) Avi Zabo Ben Zeev, a 30 year career Israeli Navy veteran, tells the fateful story of the Dakar from first hand experiences as it was his submarine and lost his dearest friends.
